I'm unsure of which transmission I actually have, its a 1997 Formy LT1 with the A4 trans. Which one is it? the 4l60e? Also, I'm looking on B&M's website and I see there's a Shift Improver (http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=products&sid=3&cat=12&subcat=21)kit as well as a Transpak (http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=products&sid=3&cat=13&subcat=22) kit (stages 1 and 2). Both are listed as compatible with the 4l60E tranny, and if i were to get one, which would be best? I'm looking for hard shifts, being able to 'shift' my automatic, and 2nd gear tire chirping. If the transpak is what I want vs. the shift improver, do I want to go with stage 2?

You have a 4l60e and the shift improver would be what your looking for the transpak is way more involved

Thanks for the reply...BUT...
I already ordered the Transpak. How much more involved is it? I think I remember reading somewhere about drilling something? I'm not going to tear down or anything until i read and understand the directions of course.

The transpak requires major tear down

I read through the instructions today. There is definitely that, a lot of tear down. It doesn't seem to be that huge of a job, just a time consuming one that will require patience and carefulness.
