How much power to lift the front end?

With traction not being an issue, how much power would it take to make the front end lift on a stock camaro? Probably won't be happening for me any time soon, i'm just curious.

Your car can probably do it with the right chassis/suspension setup and traction.. Though more horsepower never hurts :usa:

I believe I saw a pic of 98SnakeEater doing it, and his car really doesn't have all that many mods. As stated before some suspension bits and sticky tires will get you some lift with the right launch. Don't try it on the stock 10 bolt though.

wasnt planning on trying it, i was just curious. the last thing i need to do is break my car

It all depends on how much you are refering to lifting the tires? If it is just enough to get some light under it, then a good high stall converter and light mods will do it with traction. Our 2001 Camaro SS pulled the front driver's side tire enough to show light through it when it cut a 1.6 60' time and ran a 12.7.

If you want to yank both tires off the ground, then you need about 500 rwhp and some serious suspension work. This is Jen cutting a 1.45 60' on her way to a 10.65 at 127 MPH.
