Hi there,
I am pretty new to these forums and have been looking around for a few days now. I am looking for and will be purchasing an 02 WS6 AUTO if i can find one within the next couple of months.
I am searching for upgrades to put me in the low 12 high 11 mark and these forums have really been a huge help..
Anyhow, I was looking around on Thunder Racing and noticed something called a TransBrake Switch. What exactly is this and how is it used?
What I think it is, is sort of a way for Auto's to do a launch the way a manual does (pop the clutch) instead of doing a neutral drop.... I'm guessing while the momentary switch is pushed, the tranny is stopped from spinning the driveshaft which then allows you to rev your engine up to optimal rpm and then the switch is released which puts power back to the wheels which allows for a launch similar to a manual.. Am I totally off??? I know neutral dropping is bad for an auto and this would be great if what I stated exists LOL I know it is a long shot but I'm new to this so take it easy on me :)...
Thanx,
