Is this normal

First off my car has a 9" ford rear end with moser axles, detroit locker, and M6 tranny. Now I know nothing about lockers but when I turn a corner and get on it after I am going straight it feels like it snaps into place am I crazy or is something broke.
Some one please tell me how a detroit locker should behave.
