so I've leaving the "city" after hanging out... get on the highway, see this RX8... and start playing with him... barely half throtle is more then enough for them... but then we come accross this Pepsi Blue STi... and he starts to follow too... at this point the RX8 gives up after I kinda mashed for a second and he saw I was just playing with him...

so the STi starts following me and passing (very light traffic)...we are doing about 80mph (speed limit is 55-60)... then he hits it while he's still ahead of me (by at least 5 cars cutting through the last of the traffic) and I hit it too and he pulls for a second then I start catching him...when I'm about 2 cars away he turns into this smalled 2 lane Highway... we still play around...then we U-turn... and are finally able to have 1 solid run...

50mph I'm in 2nd Gear (Automatic)...and the car doesn't feel too strong... I mash then lift completly cause he didn't go... but as I lift he goes...(hasn't he ever heard of counting down!!!) ... so I hit it after he does...immedietly errase his half a Car lead... I shift to 3rd at about 4,900rpm so the car shifted at like 5,500 (GHEY EARLY SHIFT!!!)...but I still start to pull away... as we get to about 100mph we have to stomp on the brakes cause of cars up ahead... all in all...I let him get a 1/2car jump...then I catched him and put half a car on him... had we gone further I could've seriously put about 2 cars on him...

DAMN 2nd GEAR DEADSPOT scared the shit out of me... some freaking STi that I should've destroyed from a 15mph 1rst gear Roll... !!! oh well I still won :p

niice. I was getting the same results w/ the sti I raced once

:true: ... nice thing is... that Today... I'm probably suposed to race another STi all together... from this dude who's b/f of a old school friend of mine...

hell yeah!!!...gonna be a 15mph Roll... that's my sweetspot... and I'm gonna smoke the fucker!!!!... :D

also gonna see if my friends Supra joins in...

Sounds like fun. Get a stall and rape him next time. Damn autos and their wide gear ratios, gotta keep the LS in the meat of the powerband.

well... last nights race with the other STi... pretty much was doomed from the begining... it rained a whole shiload in the afternoon... and even though it was pretty nice and dry at night... the guy still didn't really wanna go for it...

oh yeah...and it turns out... HE IS A COP... LOL... isn't that a bitch!... hehe

I ve done roll races in drive and in 2nd/1st and it seems like my best bet was just leaving it in D ? Maybe its just me.....But if you do race tonight it might be a good race thats out sweet spot for sure but its also a sweet spot for that STI, turbo from a low roll like that can surprise ya.....Have fun with it tho always fun no matter what !

Intake, Cat Delete...Free Mods... dynoed 275 with a horrible missfire that turned out ot be... bad MAF, O2 and the Computer lost some tunnin... I'm hoping for something in the 290whp range now...

it's a 3.23 auto...and well... that STi BTW was pretty damn stock (or so he said) ... hell of a driver though...

ya the parasitic drag from those awd sti's kill them at anything over 80.

true... but odly enough had it been from a 15mph, I would've had him by at least a car or 2... because that's been the result from previous STi races I've had... with SEEMINGLY stock ones... from 15mph by the time I hit 110mph he had given up and I kept going till 125mph... just because I felt like flashing the lights on him as he saw me dissapear

ya because those things launch good and if you take that away from them and their turbo is not spooled which it is not a 15 in first your superior torque and power curve will kill them.

yeah... gotta love the torque...gotta hate the Transmition... freakin Automatic... hehe...
