Well, we finally got Jen into the 9s! This is what she posted on her message board!
We just got home tonight from a weekend of Citgo Bracket Racing. I had planned on running into the 9 second range and possibly becoming one of (if not) the first female in the 9 second club with a stock LS1 short block. On a 135 shot, I ran a 9.971 @ 136.07 and backed it up with a 9.948 @ 136.63! I am so happy! :D Next season I will be switching to a 408 that will run a 9 second pass N/A. This weekend, my stock short block LS1 was running mid-10.60's all weekend long. The announcer kept calling it the wheelie Camaro, everyone got excited to see a female racing it. My crew chief will have video's up hopefully tomorrow night and possibly a picture of my N/A wheelies. I ended up with a second place in the trophy class, I had to give up 1st to my friend to back up my 9 second pass.
