ZO6 Replicas

Has anyone bought the ZO6 or C5 replicas from AFS on Ebay? Are they good quality? Any problems after a period of time like 6 months?

AFS has a pretty good ebay rating but reviews by purchasers are usually given immediately after receiving the item, when they're nice and shiny; not after 3,6,9 months of wear and tear.

I ran a set of their ZO6 wheels for about a year and was extremely pleased with them. To tell you the truth I only washed them when I washed the car, never polished them (they weren't chrome) and when I sold them they still looked damn good! Go for it buy them and enjoy them great people to deal with!!!!

I noticed that in the ad on Ebay it never said that the rims have a chrome finish. It says that they are "highly polished alluminum".

Which is better a chrome finish or highly polished alluminum?

IMO Chrome... If not you will have to constantly keep polishing your wheels to keep a chrome like luster. If its a show car, polished alum. is okay (I have them on my vette). But for a daily driver alum. is waaaay too much work for me. I also love the deeper shine that chrome gives on the Z06s.
