Just got a 2000 Z28 A4 82,000 miles, brand new 245/50/ZR/16's

Im wondering how to launch it, shift it manualy?

WHat kind of times should I get out of it is i can get a good launch? Could I get over a 100 MPH in the 1/4 mile?

What kind of 60ft time can I get? Could I pull a 1.8-1.9 60ft time?

Thanks, Jason

My 00 z28 hit 13.6 @ 103.9 bone stock. Pretty good but I havent got it to go any faster.

I just put mine in Drive and go from there. I'd drop the rear tire pressure down to about 20 psi. Just do a small burnout to clear the tires off. Bring the tach up to just about when the tires start to spin, then leave on the 2nd yellow. You should get good traction on a good track. 60 ft times will be under 2.0. I had a 3.73 and borla and some other mods so it wasn't completely stock. This was at an awesome track though with a concrete launch pad.

I launched just like OSU said, and yes it was kind of cold.

they make a helluva difference. especially since the stock 00 Z28 with the A4 has 2.73's
