i have a HUGE question to ask. What could be causing my speaker to vibrate and have static? i had 2 component speakers installed yesterday from Ultimate Electronics, then today I installed the amplifier. I turned the system on and everything seemed to work fine. I decided to go for a drive in my car. When the car started I heard what sounds like static coming from the drivers front speaker. I opened my door and when I closed it, the speaker sounded like it was vibrating. When I put the car in run, the speaker has static until the head unit boots all the way then the static goes away. but while the car is running and I'm driving, the static never goes away. I checked the connections at the amp, but that did nothing. Could it be a loose connection in the door causing this? I took out the speaker from the amp and the rest of the speakers sound normal with no static.

ok, i just went outside and tried some more things. The sound is coming from wherever that wire is plugged in at. therefore, i believe that the problem is that the speaker wire is ran next to the power wire (thank you ultimate electronics(dumb*ss)). after listening a little more carefully, the noise is coming from the passenger sail panel speaker (also ran next to the power wire). Could this be what is causing the static? the vibrating noise stops when the car is in the run position when the light dims out.

could be a loose connection at the speaker itself. I would take it back to them since they should stand by their work.
