help with auto trans!!!

I have 90k on my 00 Z and I had my transmission assembly replaced with a remanufactured one installed by the dealer under warranty at 46k. When I am on it, it shifts funny, with a little hesitation and a hard kick.....what is going on?

The warranty was for 36 months or 50k, I have now gone 42 months and 45k any advice on what could be the problem. It is time for a filter and fluid change but that can't be my problem.

Is it bouncing the rev limit right at the shift ? Every time I added more horses, I had to have my shift points tweeked... Only at WOT... That's all I could come up with !!!

actually, when I step on it, it shifts but it feels like it makes two shifts, like it misses the first time and locks in on the second. Its hard to describe but I can feel it.

Uhmmm.... Not having any brake light issues ? That will mess with the convertor locking & unlocking. Might need a pro for that one... Bummer...

Sounds like you may be feeling the band release then the 3-4 clutch come on the are supposed to do it near seamless but if the 3-4 clutch is worn you can get the double shift feeling

I live in FL and don't know anyone I would trust working on it, do you know anyone? How much trouble to fix if it is the band? Thanks performabuilt.
