Crazy turn signal!! "HELP"

with my steering wheel up my turn signals work fine but when I put it down, my passenger side starts blinking crazy and no bulbs are out. Is there a short in the steering column maybe?

If yu use your tilt steering alot, then you could have a wire that is shorting out when you move it. I would be looking at the wiring in the column and see if you can trace it down.

Well it ended up that the wire was frayed in the steering column, fixed it and it works fine.
