Four Highway runs.
1st Run - Miscommunication - He went on 1st honk. Got me by about 3-4 Cars to about 100. Heavy Traffic
2nd Run - Got me about 2-3 cars before traffic.
3rd Run - Got me about a car, held strong before I let off and he took off.
4th Run - Romped me by about 5 cars.
DJ - 402 Ls2 482rwhp
Fabrizi - Ls1 424rwhp

First races in my car since I got 'er back. Still trying to feel out its strongest launch points, i'll get better. Just need some more HP to keep up with DJ.

We will def have some pics from GTG tomorrow though. Maybe we can convince someone to record us running again.

yeah the traffic kept messing with us. the last one was were there was no traffic.

1st race, miscommunication

at 3rd honk...
2nd and 3rd race we did 50-80, 2-3 cars... both had to shut down, traffic ahead...
4th is the real deal, 45-95, 5 cars... no traffic, I think fabrizi shutdown at 95, I went to 115 or so... then shutdown, took exits to go home... etc...

fun stuff... yeah no pics and no videos...

Should have gone to find you guys instead of the track. Though DJ already showed that I me how many cars behind I will be :)

:haha: bottesini, did we count the cars between us last Friday? I dunno 50-90 roll we did 7 cars? maybe more? I can't remember how many I had on you...

It was far enough that I could not keep up, and it was not really a fair race. I had to take as much of a jump on you just to keep up for a little bit. I think it was probably about 7 though when I let off (110ish). I was pleased how my little stocker did though :) and it was just fun seeing that black beast pull away so easily.

lost bet on guessing your dyno #s after mods... I have to say that was one hell of a tune. 30rwhp tune :woo: that came outta nowhere left field... :D

on my way from LG, I raced vs a 2007 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 ...

his specs: 6.5L v12 640hp, 3600 lbs
mine: 6.0L v8 605hp, 3700lbs (heavy D60 bolt and amp box etc)

it was traffic on the highway, I'd say 50 to 85mph, he had me by a 1-1.5 car lengths. He jumped first then by the time we shut down it was about a car... very very nice car man! I took pic with my cell phone camera before this... hahhaha I could not believe I am going against the big guys. it was like an enzo pulled on me by a car or so... that thing was stuck to the ground and about 2-3 inches lower than I already am.
impressive machine!
but 320k price tag too :D
