Does anyone have any info on an LS1 engine swap into a '98 Silverado?

What do you need to know? I have an 02 LS6 in my 97.

I wanted to know if you had to relocate your ac and if so, where you got the relocating bracket. Also, what did you do about the wiring harness? Are you running straight motor or have you added a poweradder?

I made my own harness using my 97 and a 2002 F-body. I notched the frame for the A/C because I like a factory look. You can purchase a top mount kit from S&P. I'm currently working with a well known header company building 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" primary long tube headers. Once finished I'll post pics and pricing.

No, I did it at my house by myself. If you need someone to perform the swap I can hook you up with some friends of mine in Pearland. Have you heard of G-Force?

BTW, thanks 35thAnniZ28...............
