which one is better.

I am thinking about an electric cut out, and maybe just a new muffler. I can have good sound, and then power when needed. is this a good idea?

Alot of users do that. I run the McCord Powerplate with my Borla.

Excellant idea, save yourself a few $$$$, unless you are getting headers, then I'd get a full catback

Get both! Loud when you want it to be while still maximizing the power when capped up!

not at our track, Englishtown cut down on this alot....it doent matter if someone is louder than you with w loudmouth they still dont allow cutouts before the muffler...bunch of assholes.
