Cam best cam to go with?

It all depends on your intentions with the car. Bigger is not always better. If you're just looking for dyno bragging rights then a bigger cam is the choice. Or if you're looking to constantly do well in the 1/4...bigger cams are better. However if you're intentions are to dominate on the streets (light to light), the biggest cams will actually hurt you. I would really take the time to assess what you want to do with the car. Is it a daily driver? Do you do more track racing? Do you want something that will dominate from light to light? Etc.

Don't fall into the trap that you need the biggest cam. Top numbers aren't everything. It's how your HP/TQ curves look and your intentions. For example, I can take a mild heads/cam setup that we properly put together and destroy the pants out of a monster cam'd car from light to light. The big cams make their peak numbers at very high RPMs. If your car is a street application, you'll rarely see those rpms to benefit from the numbers. Milder cams that have good low to mid range power will do better. Of course, this is all assuming you want a street car. Good luck with your decision.

thankx cleanered my head up to i wanna street race but ride time to time i have 4 cars so it cvan sit home no track races just street what cam you suggest any name brand? with stock heads just going to have them ported & angle job

If you are running that distance....a bigger cam is probably best.
Something with good upper end power.

You would want more of a mid-range cam.

T-Rex is way to big for light to light domination. This is a high rpm band cam. You'll do much better with a low to mid range cam for the streets.

I have the same cam. My car is a DD car. You'll love this cam for red light to red light. Alot of torque down low. You'll need a tune to get the most out of it. You'll probably have traction issues. I know i did.

Nice cam. I've seen some good numbers come from that cam. Since you have a 112, you will definitely want a good tune. Have fun with your new power.
