As we are going through this setup...A "experienced" juicer brought to my attention that all wet kits run lean for a second due the fuel "catching up" with the nitrous...thus I would be well served to put the nitrous solenoid 18" away from the nozzle and the fuel solenoid no more than 4-5" from the nozzle to compensate for the "fuel lag"....My thought is "huh??!!!"...fuel pressure is a constant and if you have proper fuel pressure this should not be an issue...however I have never ran the laughing gas on any of my cars before....anybody care to elaborate or dispel/confirm this comment.....

I'm not really experianced with N20, But I've never heard of somone blowing there shit due to the split second lean spike. I have heard of people toasting piston # 7 due to going lean for a second. But it was due to them hitting the rev limiter. Anyone who runs without a window switch is a fool anyway

I hear ya man...I am probably overly safe (if that is possible)...
Window switch/WOT switch/Fuel pressure safety switch/bottle warmer/pressure guage/Purge valve/blow off tube.......got too much in this engine to blow it up over stupidity....was just curious over this length to nozzle issue.....hell guess it wouldnt hurt....better safe than sorry I guess....
just going a 100 shot with a NX Wet kit....

I can see where this could be true... nos is at what 1900 psi, fuel 45 psi ish... (i really dont know)... and nitrous even at liquid state is prolly less dense then fuel... F=MA or A=F/M... more force means more acceleration and less mass means more Acceleration...

hence nirtous gets there faster...

i hate to tell you that i could calculate it all, but i really dont want to and it wouldnt actually be that feasable, but a small delay on the nitrous... seems feasible.

I hear ya man....they kicked me out of physics class for farting.....mass and density do play here though seriously...I think I will put the fuel solenoid closer than the nitrous.....sure as heck won't hurt anything.....thanks...

as long as the lines aren't too long from the solenoids, you'll be fine.
the glitch of lean is so little that it won't create dammage

Thanks man...I do not see it as a "major" issue....but don't forget Canadian Nitrous is different than Texas Nitrous.....:):)

Line length will not make any difference. If you are really concerned about the "lean spike" which, btw, dry kit users suffer from also (the MAF & PCM play catch up with the N2O), the way around it with a wet kit is to have two rpm window switches (or a controller), one to operate your fuel solenoid and the other for the nitrous one. Then you can set the fuel solenoid's ON point slightly before the nitrous solenoids and no more lean spike. ;)

Personally, I don't believe it to me enough of an issue to worry about unless you're spraying a big shot (200+).

This is true only when all else is equal, but when you have such a HUGE pressure difference, as in this case, that all goes out the window. The fact is, the nitrous does hit the cylinders first.
