Keyless remote part number (for 99 Trans Am)

Does anybody know the part number(s) found on the back of the keyless remote for a 1999 Trans Am??

I ask because I just purchased one of Ebay and I'm having problems programming it. I can get the car in "program" mode, but the transmitter isn't picked up. (I've already changed the battery.)

The place I bought it from says the board part number (they replace it so it doesn't match what is shown on the outside of the fob) is:
16245100-29

Also, my car is American (from texas orig), would a remote be different for an american car vs canadian? (I live in Canada so I'm wondering if they sent me a remote for a canadian.)

After peeling back all of the tape and crap that now holds mine together, if I'm making it out properly it says:

GM 16245100-29
CANADA 218101368
MODEL/FCCID ABO1502T

I just bought one from ebay that said for a 98/99 malibu but all the #'s on the back matched so i bought it and it works great (01TA). $15 instead of $65 plus tax from a dealer

If it's still not working try resynchronization, sometimes necessary after battery replacement. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for a few seconds - should cycle the door locks and flash the parking lights.
