does anyone have these MAC headers
http://www.LMPerformance.com/562/1.html

How do they install, easy or hard, will they fit on a convertible

If i was to get the ORY with no cats, how would I pass emmissions, i have already passed them about 5 months ago.

how many O2 simulators will i need, i only have one cat now.

thanks in advance

They are not bad headers but they are not great headers either. Be aware that uncoated headers will start to rust immediately after use. I would look at the Jet Hot LT's and y-pipe with cats for a couple hundred more. Can be found for $920 shipped.

I have Macs on my 2000. heres a tip have a good muffler shop cut the ball flange off and weld a three hole flange in its place. the ball reduces the sectional area quite a bit. then you can use 3" pipe for about 6" then a bend into the Y-pipe. this will increase the effective length of the primary tubes and allow the header to scavange better.

use "Carsound" by Magnaflow CAT's they flow really well and are tiny and will fit in the Y-pipe inder the driver and passanger....i say if you can make a bunch of HP and keep it clean do it.
