I have one, and I use it to cool down the engine in the staging lanes.

Would one be appropriate for street use? I plan on getting one if I have to replace my opti. Since I have to remove the water pump to get to it, I figured I might as well upgrade it as well (since its probably the stock unit w/ over 100K miles). Or would that be a bad idea on a bolt-on car that sees a lot of street use?

^^Probably the best reason for having one. Besides that, they'll free up a few hp.
