So im driving home from work last night on south 45, when i run into guy reving his car it was a mid 90s lexus ES300 not IS although they both have the 3.0 in them i heard his turbo and saw he had 285s on the back so i was like lets go, the trafic is a little slow, the end of rush hour doin about 40 we both go down into 2nd and hit it, he spins the whole time shift into 3rd spins a little more then goes until hes got about 5 cars on me,I catch up and go what did you make he goes 612rwhp lol. His car was so sleeper, exhaust was modded but not loud he had stock looking rims the only thing that didnt look stock was his rear tires lol. His intercooler was black so you could barely see it through his grill.

lol those 2jzs can make some power :Pw: I have a supra aswell but its a 87 not a 2jz but i like the 7m, last dyno run made 517rwhp, however me and my friend tony recently fried the rings in 3 and 5, time for forged internals and a bigger turbo hopeing for 650-700rwhp.

yeah, this lexus has probably got a 2jz with a large turbo in it. pretty cool in how its in a es300, i haven't seen that. Probably shaved off a couple pounds using the es body instead of the supra.

Yeah they are like 150lbs lighter then the supra i believe not to mention a fuck ton cheaper even a N/A supra with 100,000+miles costs over 10k these days.

I saw a SC Lexus... run a 10flat with a 2JZ on Sunday... it was it's test pass...so it's not even perfect yet... as much as I bug my friend (he owns a 94 Supra) about his car... it has to be said that they can be made extremely fast... only problem is the money it takes to get them that fast... :(

My supra had 517rwhp, i havent put that much money into it, but thats prbably why it has broke 3 times now, so im doin it right and getting stnad alone and forged internals, the head is being port polished and just got the new intercooler and pt-67 turbo, capable of 800hp.

yeah!... that type of stuff...makes me think twice about just running on Fun Juice... to make good power... but I don't want just a dyno queen...I want results... hehe

he prolly saw some big FAT meats in the back...and automaticly deduced that they'd be atleast 285's... it doesn't have to be exact... just close enough that you can add it to the story...:nana:

Like i said it was light rush hour traffic, after we raced we caught back up to the traffic and had to roll at 20mph for the next 5 miles so we had time to talk lol. Not to mention i have 285 on the back of my supra so i know what they look like

Um, did you guys miss the fact that ES300s are front-wheel drive Camry platforms and someone "supposedly" converted it to RWD and the engine layout changed entirely (transverse vs longitudinal).

I'm guessing it was an SC300?

Very nice cars, too. Supra platform, 5" longer without the structure-robbing targa top, sheetmetal techniques patented for the front-end, N/A Supra motor (when stock).

V8s were automatic only.

Yes it is something to brag about T-Tops and a the Targa are by far the best things ever, and yes the supra targa is a bitch to use lol.

yeah sleepers are wild man.... my car now is by far no sleeper... its loud... but my 240sx was... it was quiet but turbo and had like 300 to the wheels... not to mention looked like white trash

I love 240s personally, i almost bought a 95 with a ls1 swap in it, ran a 11.9 with a just a bolt on ls1 no cam or heads.

:giveup: nice... yeah thatd be nice but the one thing i hate is i would have to get a custom exhaust cuz if u hear one in person they have a ricey tone to them cuz u hafta use like an hks exhaust or something

It had c5 vette exhaust with the 2 dual tips in the center of the rear bumper the motor was out of a 01 vette his dad had wrecked, i didnt get it cause it was auto and i didnt want a auto car he was only asking 7500, the motor had 45k on it

yeah but like 2700 pounds of twisted steel and aluminum if you give it that much power lol... trust me i had a 240 adn those things arent built quiet like the camaro/firebirds... not that these are perfect but better... and yes it can be reinforced... but id rather just have my muscle car with the original body, although yes you would beat me if you had it in there
