Doubtfull. Ceramic coating is the best thing going and they still rust after a few years.

Yes it will help!
I put some ceramic high temp. coating from a rattle can on my ORY and Catback, both of which are aluminized, and it has kept it from rusting.
The way I can tell is by looking at a bracket on the catback that we had to bend for fitment issues,(removed paint) and it has some rust on it, while the rest of the catback still looks new.
I say go for it.
