I did a search and could not find anything so does anyone have a pic of a pewter bird with the bottom part of the rear bumper done in black? The thought has come across my mind to do this but am not to sure how it looks. Any help is appreciated.--Tony

I know that black, silver/chrome, and orange accents looks great with pewter. So it should look sweet.
Gotta represent for my pewter Camaro :D.

Thinking of doing orange stripes, to add some colour.

it would look good because pewter and black go together very well anyway. check this out, its a blackbird trans-am, it'll give you an idea.http://www.gmmginc.net/html/blackbird.html

Yeah, I like the look and I saw a picture of a pewter bird on cardomain with the bumper in black and now I cannot find it. I think it will look ok as well, but would just like some re-assurance before hand. Also what do you guys think, do it gloss or satin?--Tony

I have a couple Silver Blackbird pics but it doesn't show the back :(
It would look great though. The best colors to do it on are the ones that contrast the most - White and Silver cars. Looks good on Red too.

I prefer satin myself. The piece on my camaro was done in satan. If you don't like it, paint over it :D.

gloss or satin??? that's up to you man.. I say do what you want. It's like this if you want it to look like a black bird then satin, if you want the whole car to shine then go with gloss. I went with gloss on my camaro, I'm happy with it.

I am kinda leaning towards the gloss too, it is hard to find a pic of a pewter blackbird so I can see what this looks like done, I found ONE picture and there was not one back side photo of the car, the search goes on.....--Tony

I agree! I've seen the gunmetal on a black firehawk. Looks great.
As for the pewter WS6 above, that was done in satan.

A dark grey or gunmetal are the only colors that look good on the bumper of a Black T/A...trust me i've done my research.
