c6 ls7 z06.....question [Archive] - LS1 Performance Information

trying to figure this out.....stupid questin but here it goes....is the c6 refering to the body typy, and the z06 to the suspension/body kit, and of course the ls7 to the engine right????????

whats the diff between z06 and z51 package.......

right the ZO6 does have a different body package and im sure the z51 is a suspensiond upgrade or something

C6 means the 6th generation corvette

you are correct,
C6 = 6th gen vette
Z06 = kickass version of C6
LS7 = kickass engine included in C6 Z06

Z51 is suspension/brakes/gearing/fluid coolers package, idea being to make car more track-worthy.

Z51 is a performance upgrade to the C6 coupe. It's a range of different parts, ranging from gears to brakes, with other performance upgrades as well.

The Z06 is the C6 "race ready" production car. It a predecessor to the C6R. The car is basically a "super" corvette coupe. It has WAY to many upgrades to the car to even list here, from the C6 Coupe. The two are not even in the same league.
