My 99 TA has a low pitch whine when I turn a normal street corner but goes away as soon as I straighten and start to accelerate an idea what that is?

Could be a front wheel bearing since you hear it more in a corner, if you notice it setting still it could also be something as simple as low power steering fluid. You could also try rotating your tires, I diagnose cars everyday and its really hard to unless I am driving the vehicle. good luck though

My makes noise too but not only in corners. It seems like mine makes noise when it has been sitting for a while. Mine makes a clicking sound (kinda like a playing card on the spoke of a bicycle). Does it from 1-15 MPH, by then car is going to fast and sound is probably sounding like one BIG sound. Any ideas? I have a slow leak in the front of the third member and am getting ready to buy a kit and change the whole thing out. I currently have a 00' TA WS6 with about 90k on the ticker. Believe the rear end is 3.23's (someone correct me if I am wrong, or please tell me where to go to verify this.) I am wanting to go with 3.73's maybe 4.11's. Is it prolly a Torsen series 3 carrier? ANy help would be appreciated.:hmm:
