where can a guy get a kit that includes everything, except hood, to take a regular 99 TA to a Ram Air TA like the WS6. Just need Ram Air, but if i get that do I need to get exhaust or something else besides factory.

there's better intakes than the ram air. Get a lid, any brand, do the free ram air mod and get the fast toys ram air kit. Exhaust is a good idea, and you'll notice decent gains from a well flowing catback...like magaflow, gmmg, etc.

To convert to a WS6 forget about the Ram Air, you need to drop $$$$$ into the suspension. The WS6 package added 15 hp through a freer flowing exhaust, but the main components of the WS6 option was the upgraded suspension.

Exhaust was the same on ws6 t/a's as on regular t/a's. ws6's came with the ram air package better suspension and 17 inch wheels instead of 16's.

Doesn't the WS6 T/A have a less restrictive exhaust (larger diameter I-pipe and better flowing muffler) than the standard T/A?

The exhaust wasn't the same on the WS6 as compared to a regular TA. How much better it flowed is anyones guess. The suspension was where the diff. was at.
