Is it better to run LT headers with a true dual setup or with a y-pipe setup? What would the hp difference be? I want to run true duals, but it costs alot more to get it done.

Technically, both setups can support 800+ hp. But true-duals flow a little better and therefore, will yield better gains. Plus, a lot of people like the sound that true-duals make.

this is from the wife's car. had a 3" adjustable borla on her car with bassani headers and y-pipe. took the y-pipe and borla off and put the bassani tru-duals on. it comes with a x-pipe. this was on stock tune and stock cam.

if you get over the axel duals, it wont be cheap. duals do make some better power, but because of the price, its not worth it to me.

I went with a y pipe and catback because there is true duals under the axle is a bad idea. there's only one spot for the pipes to go over the axle, therefore it has to be custom fabricated. it would be sweet but i can't spend $1000 on exhaust when i could have the money for other mods.
