I'm not exaclty sure if the mount is the same on an A4 car as on my M6 car, but heres what I did. I put car on jack stands, put a jack under the transmission just to support it. I removed the bolt between the mount and the crossmember with an 18mm socket. Removed the cross member (4 bolts) with a 15mm socket. Then I removed the mount from the transmission (2 bolts) with a 13mm socket. Then just re-install everything in reverse order. I'm not sure about tq specs...I guessed. :hide:

jack up the car, use stands, loosen the one 18mm bolt, jack up the tranny very carefully as not to dent or damage the pan, i use a ratcheitng wrench to remove the 2 13mm bolts put in new let jack down, put 18mm bolt back on, lower car, basically the auto and the manual mount is the same thing, just be advised "DONT USE A CHEAP ONE" I WOULD ONLY USE A GM MOUNT OR A PERFORMANCE MOUNT FROM SUMMIT ETC. and if you use aftermarket you will probably have a slight vibration, unnlike the stock
