Fuel line disconnection?

I have the 3/8 fuel line disconnect plastic tool, but the fuel line will still not budge. Has anyone had this problem too? Is there a proper method in doing this?

Push in on both the tool and the line (towards each other, then try to seperate), takes abit of patience. wiggle it alittle and it should pop out (make sure you have no fuel pressure in the line/rails)

Yeah I've been trying that... it's still not coming off. I'm going to buy a metal tool tomorrow. I'm hopeing that will help. Then i'll continue with that method.

plastic tool- 5 hours (no success)
metal tool- 5 seconds (success)
screw the plastic fuel line disconnect tools.. they arent worth anything

I used the plastic ones last time and the first time I used them it popped right off. The second time it took a while longer and really tested my patience. I finally got it after some struggling.
I can PM you the correct combination of swear words it took to get it apart if you'd like. :D There was a pretty long list of swear words involved. I almost had to take a second breath to say them all at once like that. :D

update:
I just finished up pulling my intake to change out my knock sensors and used the plastic release again. Got it first try so I had to take back some of the things I called it last time. :D

I had mine fold over inside of itself. I think the trick is if it doesn't go easily then pull the tool out and inspect it. Then try it again. Just like you, I've had it work like a breeze one time then give me fits the next.

Funny, I didn't disconnect the fuel line at all to do my intake swap. Just took the rails off and moved them to the side...
