my advice: make a little ramp for the amp to sit on, and hide your wires under there, makes the amp look a lot nicer. i did it on an install for my buddy, wish i had pics, looks real nice and its easy! make it out of wood and then cover it with the same material you do a box.

Like NE98LS1 said. As clean/simple your setup is, those wires just kill the look. An amp "rack" would really make it look top notch!:cool2:

Just my friendly 2cents.

Here's my setup. Imagine all the wires that are involved here...nicely tucked away...;)

did you guys miss the part where he said he was fiberglassing a new box and amp rack?

anyways -- as far as MY advice....I don't think you could have mounted the front tweeters in a worse location -- that is WAY too far from the woofer component, and it looks as if the angle is pretty bad....also just doesn't look very good there at all IMO, and probably doesn't sound the best.

Ideally you want the tweeter and woofer component to act as a point source -- leave less that 12" between the two components in physical location. Mount them flush in your door for the cleanest look and best sound.
