whats the deal with

these TCs on ebay selling for around $250? brands i'm not familar with such as ACC and others (not street fighter, yanko, etc like i'm familar with) but they say they are for the 4l60e? stalls around 2800-3200 which is what i'm looking for for my DD

Generally, you get what you pay for. I would be very skeptical about buying performance parts that were unproven off of Ebay. If a convertor goes bad, there is a good chance it can/will take the tranny with it. I would stick to something proven when it comes to a convertor.

yeah, it makes a guy wonder, they all seem to have decent reps, and its not like they are selling for $50...but again like you said not something you really wanna have to take a chance with either!
