Driveshaft???

Hello,
I would just like to know 2 things. First is an aluminum driveshaft stock on an 98 t/a? And 2 I am having sometimes a tinging sound comming from my driveshaft when I put into rev. or drive is there a prob. or common? Its an auto.:shrug:Please help!!!!

The M6 and 3.23 A4 cars came with an alum driveshaft - could've been replaced by someone if it's a 2.73 car. Don't know what the intermitent tinging sound is, unless it's hitting somewhere?

Could it be the u-joints? and is that the only thing that could be wrong with a driveshaft?
