well, here's an attempt to get this place back to what it used to be and to what it needs to be. If you all have anything to add, email me and ill post it up in here. Im looking for all the instructions that come with the LCA's, PHB's, relocation brackets, TA's..all that stuff. Thanks to Kelly for here gear writeup!! ive got some more to add here and to additonal forums, but need to increase the alloted file size limitations.

Thanks for the how to's. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade, but it's nice to see details of the job before I tear into it since I've never done a gear swap before.
Given that 2.73 gears are for 2 series carrier, and 3.23 and up are for 3 series, what is your opinion on using a spacer (as advertized http://www.speedwaymotors.com/p/3772,97_GM-10-Bolt-75andquot;-Ring-and-Pinion.html )
to install 3.23 or 3.42 etc. gears on a 2 series carrier?

they make gears of that size for a 2 series carrier so you dont have to use a spacer
