Will used 4.10 gears whine?

I put some in the other night and have them set up right I believe but it still whines at about 55 or 60. Some people say it's because they are used and the gear are now in a differant wear pattern, like the ring and pinion are not matched up to the same teeth as they were originally. Is this true?

it may be that theyre used.

although, i think it matters more whether theyre aftermarket or gm gears. from what ive heard, aftermarket gears tend to whine, but gms dont.

Kind of scary when you say you believe there in right. I'm guessing something is not aligned right. But for my opion I wouldn't have put used gears on mine.
