Yes, I have one, lots of people do. They are a great shift kit.

I just had one installed by the local race shop-they asked me if I wanted firmer shifts(mild kit) or if I wanted to land in the back seat(race kit) You guess which one I picked, :naughty: I am very happy with the results

It won't, only if you raise the line pressure with a hand held, and not beefup the tranny with the kit.

The TransGo "modified" Shift kit that I carry and use is taylored to match the motor/rear end gear ratio/torque converter/driver combination. If it is matched correctly, then it should give you longer life, as compared to stock.
