Wiring Diagram for Fly by Wire Motor

Hi my name is Dan & I live in Australia :true:
I'm about to buy an LS 1 5.7 ltr out of an 3 / 05 SS model commodore & putting it into a 60 series cruiser & I'm chasing a wiring diagram for the motor including the fly by wire accelerator section & the 4 speed auto

I hear about this fly by wire and drive by wire stuff all the time. What is it? Does it just mean that instead of a cable running between the pedal and throttle body that the pedal actually sends a signal to the computer and the computer sends a signal to the throttle body?
