i had to get a jump at work.....then i go home try my silverados battery in my camaro...STARTS right up....is it normal for my battery to just die..


i jumped it and drove it around for like 5-10 miles...still died with my battery in


should i be worried? or do i just need a new battery?

Have it load tested free at some place like autozone to be sure. I had one crap out overnight, wouldn't even unlock the door with the remote.

Now that the battery is replaced though try to watch for like your blinkers slowing down, interior lights dimming, as well as basically the car wants to just quit running. If that happens after the new battery your alternator is more than likely bad. Watch the charge on the battery.
