Help with error code

My check engine light came on so I hooked up the handy dandy computer and came up with the error

"Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (small leak)"

any clue as to what they mean? Thanks in advance

Yeah. Could be a few things. Usually, its a problem with the charcoal filter. A small leak could indicate a fotted out rubber hose that runs to or from the purge valve. or it could be a bad purge valve. Canister = $50, valve = $50.

Actually alot of times when that code comes up, believe it or not, either the gas cap is bad, or wasn't on all the way.
