Here is a good tip, if you're not using a car lift. When you lift the back end of the car up, and take the parking brake off to spin the rear tires. Please put large blocks in front of the car. It is a dangerous job when you are not using the lift. It is an easy job with the right tools though. Driving the seal in is the hardest part in my opinon.
there are so many things to consider when replacing a pinion seal it isn't even funny.I'll bet your real trouble is worn pinion bearings causing the seal to leak.Guess how i know this?????

The nut is 1 1/4", use a good impact wrench to get it off. When you retighten it you are supposed to have 20 in/lbs of bearing preload.

We already changed it. It's been a few weeks sence and it seems to be fine now, No leaks yet. Why do you say it's the bearing?
well if it stopped then you should be ok,i seen alot with pitted bearings from sitting(water damage) then the seal leaks.
