Srt4 Vs Ss

ok this guy talks his car up...he has stage 2, runs pump gas...has some street tires on....i looked up the numbers and the stage 2 puts him in the 27 range....stage 3 in the 325 range so he is some where in between....should i be able to be him?



i know the whole just go try thing...but he thinks he is the fastest ever and i dont want to call him out if i dont have a chance

do you have any mods?? and what are they...and does he have any supporting mods other than stage 2?? and what are they....you have to realize that they only weigh 2900lbs to your 3400lbs...

If its just a stock S2 with little or any supporting mods AND he can drive itll be close......but you should have the edge........I ran 13.5@105 with Stage 2, intake and 3 in exhaust only........but normally the ones that talk shit cant drive......so kick his ass and put the shit talker down.....

Oh and my car is fully bolted and Stage 2 and im trapping 111-113 on a cold night and i can drive.......so if he has any other mods, than that can give you a ballpark figure

yea i mean i want to run him...he was/is the fastest around before i got my ss....but i was just curious and i think i can win....but just wanted to know about it more

I think it should be a good run......unless he has mods similar to mine....you car should trap 106....just run him and see and judging by your race i can tell you what he has done to his car.

Ok i know my name is what is its. but i just recetly bought a o5' srt 4 completly stock. I used to have a 99' t/a with lid, and slp exhaust. I still get on here everday and hear the same stuff. Srt 4's can be made powerfull but you will win stock for stock. But again everyday there are 1 to 2 post titled "srt4 vs t/a, or ss" just go out there and race it haha. I mean if there not that big of a deal then just wax his @ss and be done no need to ask about it. You get the same answer everytime. the LS1 will win. sorry not being a dick just see it alot on here. I am no way saying my car can run with the best of them but for what it is, its a quick car.

S2 is nice and all, but it's not the smartest path to more power (IMO) when it comes to SRT-4's. It should put the guy in the 250whp range, depending...but without supporting mods (as its been said), he's not THAT fast.

For the same amount of money he spent on S2, he could be pushing 300whp on pump EASY and be Stage 0.

When I owned my 03 SRT-4 I had a SS BOV, 3 inch down pipe, 3 inch exhaust, k&n, AGP waste gate, cold air pipes and this was the big helper NX 75kit. That kit gave me an extra 106whp and over 140lbs of torque (turbo’s love the bottle:D, which brought me to 326whp and 409lbs of torque. I say race him from a dig and light his @$$ up. Those cars don't hook at all with any kind of power unless he is running slicks and that won’t help him on the street.
