Do I need a tune?

I just got a nine clutch pack in my automatic trans am with a shift kit. Churps second like crazy but when i'm cruising it almost feels like it's in an extremly low gear (feels like I am towing something). Do i need to get my shift points reconfigured? And would a dyno tune help for this? And what else would a dyno tune help with?

No actually when I am cruisn in third it has low rpms and a lot of mph.

well, that would be normal in 4th. so, i'm not getting what you are trying to explain then.
