Whats the best tranny fluid?

Like it says, whats the best, especially if you are running a stall? I hear some convereters co.'s say not to run synthetic with their converters...What do you run and is there an absolute reason why?

I started running Mobile 1 4 years ago in my '97 Chevy truck. It's a work horse, used for towing and hauling, up on 40" tall tires, and frequently abused in extreme offroading. I've been monitoring the same fluid for 4 years now. It hasn't discolored one bit in 4 years, has never foamed, and never smelled burned. My experienced with it in this extreme vehicle of mine has convinced me to run it in every other vehicle I own.

I'm running Royal purple in mine and I have a PI 3600 stall. The synthetic helps with the temps some.

So you can run synthetic with that PI stall.. cool! I am a big fan of Royal purple too. Thanx!
