hi im new to the site and was wandering if u could give some help first off how much hp am i making?.. and what would u recomend for upgrades?

car.
2000 ss camaro (with t tops) just bought 9 months ago for 18k
k&n air filter(bottem of box cut out)
msd plug wires (someone took the packs off before they sold it)
njk plugs
revs up to 66oo before cut out
160 Thermostat
6 speed manual trans
c5 corvette rims 17 front 18 rear i think are messing up the abs.
flomaster looks like stock all the way to the back.
weld in sub frame connectors.
is the car worth 18k and where should i start on the car?
also feels like clutch is sliping coming off the line it wont go anywere intill i let out. then it grabs then if i punch it again it will pin out but wont be going any faster what could this be im new to he camaro's and has a plan for the car but not should if ifs the best way i can go. plan is pull ls1 out replace with ls6 with new heads, intake, cam, at the same time replace subframe with crome molly tubeuler. long tube headers and cromolly all suspenion. i want the car to have atleast 600hp no nos, tubo,or supercharger.

sounds kind of pricey but a car is only worth what it is to you. if you love it, it doesn't matter what it cost. i wouldn't swap the ls1 just pull it and build it when you get higher up in the mileage.

you'll probably dyno stock #s with that setup so around 300 rwhp with about 315 lb ft give or take 10-15 rwhp or so. i could be wrong though i'm a newbian.

well for one..if you want 600hp, then your wasting your time with the ls6 conversion cause thats not gonna even break you over 400rwhp....and secondly, unless you bore out your ls1 block, achieving 600hp wo fi or n20 is impossible

Yeah, to get 600hp n/a your gonna have to go big cubic inches. At least 427-454 on the LS-1. And be prepared to get 157 new clutches.
