yeah it does. amazing all that black stuff is the oversrpay from the car getting painted at the factory. threw some purple stuff on it and it wiped right off.

I used Simple Green on my undercarriage and got all that black undercoating stuff off of mine. I have heard that purple stuff works really well too, but haven't used it myself.

it's stronger than simple green. i spray it on full strength and you can watch the grime start coming off. the purple will turn brown almost immediately.

i like to spray the carb cleaner while the engine is running and motor is warm. this way, it loosens up the oil. and it boils right off.

The carb cleaner tip worked GREAT for cleaning the block. I didn't get to spend a ton of time doing it, but I got the front and bottom part of the block cleaned up nicely.

i use it at full strength, which is why it leaves a film. i put some in a squirt bottle. once i've wiped down the first time, i go back over again to get the rest off. it smears the first pass.

what other parts of your car do u clean with it ??

i've used it with a green scrubby pad to get the grime off the windshield. i've wiped the bottom of the car where the paint is to clean the grime off of it.
if you use cloth towels, it comes cleaner quicker. paper towels don't clean as well.
