4.10s or 3.73s

good buddy of mine has 4.10s in his and belive at 2000rpms it shows 60mph
am i correct on the gearing (4.10s)
i compared it to my truck which has 4.10s and at 60mph it shows 2000rpm?
and its a automatic( the ta and the truck), i will tell you i love it, if it has 4.10s that bitch never stops pulling could careless about fuel cosumption

on an a4, my mechanic suggested the 3.73 which is what I got. Its getting installed now. They say its better overall for city/highway driving and still has plenty of power off the line.
