What Gears do I have?

I have a 2002 M6 Trans Am WS.6!

Do they all have the same gears in them?

If so, what is the gear ratio?

If different gear options, how can I tell what I have?

Also where can I find (stock numbers) for top speed in each gear 1-6th?

Stock should be 3.42 - look for RPO code GU6 on the drivers side door. Not sure what you're asking in the last question, maybe www.f-body.org/gears/ will help. If you suspect they may have been changed you can also use that calculator to check your RPM against MPH.

My last question is simple.

In stock mode what is the top speed at redline for each gear

example

1 gear - top speed ____
2nd gear -- top speed ____

etc.

I tried using that calulator, but i don't know the gear ratio for each gear, therefore it never gave me the answer.


Anyone know that answer?
