2008 Calendar: Call for Entries!

LS1.com Presents: GIRLS on LS1's

This year we're starting early! The deadline date is September 30th 2007 all entries will be accepted and judged by a private group of Ls1 members. The calendar stipulations are a little different than previous years, so PLEASE READ BELOW: For reference, here's The 2006 Calendar (http://www.cafepress.com/cp/get_latest_product_view.aspx?showBleed=false&ProductNo=83437216&pr=F):

• Open to all members, and member's girlfriends/friends/models. To clarify: any girl, on an ls1 car, submitted by a board member, will be qualified. LS1.com will not be responsible for copyright infringement.
• BE CREATIVE! we want to see girls in "themes" ie; February girl in a Valentine outfit, December girl in a Christmas outfit.
• The judges panel will determine what girl gets what month.
• Previous calendar girls are encouraged to submit, but do not get a shoe-in; we are looking for brand new faces this year.
• The more the merrier! 1, 2...5 girls in one pic would be acceptable.
• No girl will appear in the calendar more than once.
• NO NUDES! :faint:
• NO ONE UNDER 18 will qualify
• HI-REZ, Landscape-format only; the final photos will be 17" wide x 11" tall [twice the size of last year's calendar]. No camera phone images will be accepted.
• Please submit images/questions to calendar@ls1.com
• Please attach a write up of the car's modifications, color, model's name and owner's name when submitting.

Photo Tips:
• Use a tripod
• Landscape format ONLY
• Never shoot into the sun unless you are a professional who can compensate for that exposure
• Try to avoid shooting between 11am and 2pm; the sun is normally directly overhead and does not provide for good lighting or shadow detail.

Amber has some revealing pro shoots coming up this summer after her broken leg heals.

the association of our neighborhood (that we pay monthly) is responsible for proper snow removal. Well they neglected to remove the snow in a proper and correct fashion. In turn causing ice and snow build that she did not see. She slipped fell and broke both the tibia and fibula resulting in surgery and some metal hardware to hold it back together.


picture back in school playing soccer and being kicked in the shin, yeah that hurt, now picture have that bone snap into 4 pieces from a forceful twisting motion.

This happened in february so she should be healed up and back to walking by july!

I think there's a legal form for it. there has to be a copyright legal dept at a town hall or something? I dunno, perhaps hire an attorney and they do it for you. :shrug:

Can you add the Canadian holidays in this year? Most are the same but for instance this month you guys have your long weekend holiday May 28 and we have ours a week before on May 21 (Victoria day)?

Most calendars up here show all the holidays for the entire continent so it should be an easy upgrade for 2008?

how do you copyright a picture?

Any picture you take has an express copyright by the photographer. You don't have to do anything special to have a copyright on your work. Even if there is no visible marking on a photo to designate the copyright, the court system expects people to assume all photos are copyrighted. I do know this, my store has a photo lab in it and I have to be up to date on copyright laws. I just went through an update course on them 2 weeks ago. Any picture you take is copyrighted.
