2008 Calendar: Call for Entries!

My wife wants to pose for this years calender, I just have a couple questions. I still have my good old LT1, and with all the people and hot women this year there will probably be a ton of LS1 submissions. Would I be better off getting a friends LS1 and have her model on it rather then my LT1 for this year?
Not sure if this has already been discussed but, I know this year is themed and it's a great idea. I am wondering though what months everyone should focus on? I would hate to see everyone shoot for October and December and you have 10 submissions for just those months. I was going to take pics for two different months to give you more options, I just don't know what is available.

Maybe me and you can work something out :)

that's a great question, honestly your car and your woman really are a notorious pair-it's up to you though...i really doubt people care if there is an lt1/ls1 in the background...considering the foreground.

as far as themes-i suggest you shoot for one themed one, and one just "regular one" [like last years]

january= new years / champagne and black top hat/tuxedo jacket
february= valentine's day [take hints from miss december 07]
march = green green green or BASKETBALL?
april = rain PERIOD. i'll leave this month blank if i don't get a girl in the rain picture, so help me :rant:
may= tune up for the racing season? girl under engine pic? baseball?
june= summer/bikini/sand...duh
july= Independence day
august = summer's end, maybe back to school?

I just took some pics in the vicinity to where we live. yeah I agree it takes a bit of prep work choosing the place and the dress then the right angles and stuff with the light, sun, clouds,... so many things to worry about :yup:

It isn't a Z06. It's a C5 convertable with non-flip head lights and black Z06 vents. All Z06's are hard tops..

Those are not fake rear scoops ;) They are functional scoops ... The Z06 can have that to cool down the rear brakes why not a superchaged vette ;)

yikes...that's some serious dedication! most important thing to remember is avoid shooting pictures in the middle of the day b/c the sun is not at a good angle. try to shoot before 11am or after 4pm

McAllen Texas. My family is from there. Moms and Pops will be moving back to the dirty south at the end of october. I might make a trip there afterwards, maybe we can get a beer or two or three or four... u get the picture.:drunk:
