will this stall coverter hurt my motor in any means? or could it cause a piston to melt? please let me know, thanks!!

No, the stall converter is hard on the transmission, and the rearend until lockup. The STR (torque multiplier) is mostly what does it.

Yes STR is Stall Torque Ratio.

Nope. Just will keep you up in your power band at WOT. Best mod a automatic trannie equipped car can have done.
