I do know that the torque convertor is different from LS1 to LT1... Not sure about the wire harness.... Anyone Else ???

you have to stay with the LT1 style 4L60E. the LS1 style has a remove able bell housing and bolts to the oil pan. it also has a different input shaft that requires a different torque converter.

so, look for a 94-97. the 93 wasn't electronic shift.

Hate to hijack, but will a LT1 4L60E bolt up to LS1 w/LT1 converter?

no... the converter is definetly different... and the only difference in the transmossion that i am aware of is the ls1 only has 5 bolts and the lt1-previous has 6 bolts to the engine. i believe they will crossover ull just have a bolt missing.

while the LS1 doesn't use the bolt at the 1:00 o'clock postion, it does have two more bolts at the bottom that bolt to the oil pan and one at the 12:00 o'clock position. total of 8 bolts.

The 1993 & 1994 are all its own (no pwm). The 1995 is the first pwm and is all its own. The 1996 & up are pretty much the same, with minor differences over the years. These differences are due to the types of solenoids being used. The addition of the pwm solenoid, etc.
