I'm looking into getting my TB bored and ported, i'm wondering wich to get the s2 or s3.

Any of you guys have either, and which is best, ? power gains, etc...

MY mods are : Flowmaster muffler, MTI power induction kit (Lid Bellows K&N)

Is this mod worth it for my car and will i notice a difference

Thanks in advance

~Jeff

Shaner will tell you himself there is no noticable difference between an S2 and a S3.

I'd take the $$$ for the TB and use it towards a new CB. Ditch that Flowmaster and get a Hooker CB, or Magnaflow.

Sarge; Im thinking the S2 is better for my application anyways, but interms of noticeable difference between stock and bored and polished TB, what should i expect

To Hurley411 i just got the flowmaster and i'm satisfied with the sound and performance, i'm sure it flows better than my old single on the left exhaust

I'm just a big believer in taking care of the exhaust end before the intake, just my preference. No need for more intake if you're not kicking it out on the other end first. I would do a headers and a better flowing CB first, then worry about the TB and cam and etc. Good luck.

I've heard nothing but good things about him...dunno if that helps at all. I'm thinking about getting the s2 myself :yup:

I have an S3. I like it a lot. You might have to wait a little bit though before you get yours.. he can be pretty busy at times. It did pull harder though across the RPM band. Nothing drastic of course, but slightly.

yea, i'm going to have the car off the road over the winter, so time isnt an issue.

I'm trying to think of other things to do it over the winter, headers maybe?

If you have any reccomedations let me know

to THEROOKIE; do you have a AOL screen name ?

Has anyone ever snaped a header bolt while installing?

Will I have to jack up the engine to install MAC midlenght headers?

I've seen several others' snapped bolts from removing the OEM exhaust manifolds. So, I've always applied an ample amount of penetrating oil before attempting to remove the old bolts. They've always come out for me, ...thankfully!:bravo:
